even music is no longer
necessary.
I chose, or was driven, to interpret that to mean a place so beautiful. Lately, I’ve been wondering if he just wrote those two opening lines at first and got stuck there for awhile, like we all do — in that place, with those lines — then somehow found his way to the single word that makes the third line that makes the whole thing take off. Anyway, even if you never read poetry, buy this one.
